A Vacancy at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. West Community Health Administration Service has an exciting opportunity to join us as Band 3 Administration officer / Receptionist Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Harlow.
Responsibilities
- Experienced candidate with excellent administration, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with experience of MS Word and Excel; training on PARIS and other internal systems provided.
- Positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care, including telephone calls from patients.
- Provide services in a professional, efficient, friendly, and polite manner.
- Build effective working relationships, be approachable, accessible, and flexible.
- Member of the Administration service ensuring high quality and efficient service at all times.
- Patient data management on SystmOne.
- Maintain smooth running of office, including stationery audits.
- Telephone support, receiving and making calls to patients, making appointments on SystmOne and general queries relating to appointments.
- Operates as a centralised administration service supporting clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
- Timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using trust information systems.
- Team approach to ensure cover for absence across all services/locations; may be required to relocate for cover.

Administrative Skills
- Skilled and experienced in full range of administrative work practices, software programmes and specialised functional terms.
- Proficient with Patient Records management, supporting new users and instructing as necessary.
- Operate Trust's central telephony systems.
- Ensure all referrals actioned and processed in a timely manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and minimise waiting times.
- Flexible covering across Rochford Hospital and Kingsley centre as required; notice provided in advance.
