A government service provider in Cardiff is seeking an Admin Officer to provide essential administrative support to court users and judiciary. You will handle documents, communicate with stakeholders, and assist in case processing. Candidates should excel in customer service and possess strong organisational skills. HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales. Our work supports court users and colleagues within HMCTS, helping people and businesses access life‑changing justice.
Working as part of a team, you will contribute to the overall operational, performance and service standard targets across your area of work. You will progress cases through the court/tribunal system and provide administrative support to functions within HMCTS. You will have regular contact with court and tribunal users, which could include members of the Judiciary and the legal profession.
The appointed candidate will be required to work five days within a six‑day working week. Saturday attendance is mandatory, with an alternative day off during the week to be scheduled in accordance with business requirements. The role also includes participation in a Bank Holiday rota.
Hybrid working arrangements are available where business needs allow. The role is office‑based and hybrid working will not be considered. An applicant should be prepared to spend a minimum of 60% of working time in an office.
