Job description
Overview

Lady Lumley’s Academy is seeking an Administration Officer to join the school office on a part‑time permanent basis. The role will support the day‑to‑day operation of the academy, work with external service providers and help improve the school’s online presence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine clerical and administrative support in a busy school environment.
  • Assist with reception duties as required.
  • Lead on transport provision within the school, liaising with external providers, drivers and staff.
  • Arrange cover for teacher absences.
  • Play a key role in improving the school’s online presence through social media, the website and effective communication.
Working Pattern

The post is part of a job share. Working days are Wednesday afternoons 12 pm–4 pm and Thursday and Friday 8 am–4 pm. Flexibility around the times of the day may be possible.

Hours: 19 hours per week (term time only) plus 10 days (40 weeks) per year. Position is permanent.
