Qualifications

  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to passes in GCSE Grade English and Maths.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software such as Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role.
  • Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Occasional travel may be required, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and processing purchase orders for suppliers and contractors.
  • Liaising with stakeholders regarding repairs, complaints and queries.
  • Supporting Works Co‑ordinators and the wider Property Services team.

Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. Administration Officer

Base office location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate, this can be Hull, Sheffield or Chester

£28,376 - £29,870 per year

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm

Supporting a wider Responsive maintenance team across the North and Northwest, this post sits within a small administrative team, incorporating 3x Works Co‑Ordynators in addition to this post. The team provides a high-quality, responsive maintenance and surveying service to the North and Northwest of England, which is delivered by 9x separate operational teams within these areas.

The role of Administration Officer will include:
  • The running of several regular and ad‑hoc reports, including performance data, material spend, and telematics reporting
  • Creating and processing purchase orders for suppliers and contractors to cover such items as materials and uniform
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding on‑going repairs, complaints and queries
  • Supporting Works Co‑ordinators when required, and also the wider Property Services team as needed (up to Head of Service)
