Administrative Officers - Public Sector (Birmingham City Centre, B16 8PE)

Pay: £12.36 per hour (rising to £13.25 after 12 weeks)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary, ongoing until 31st January 2026 (with potential for extension)

Location: Fully onsite - Birmingham City Centre (B16 8PE)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting several Admin Officers to join our client's busy Team within a respected public sector organisation based in Birmingham City Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining accurate records using in-house systems.
  • Managing shared inboxes professionally and efficiently.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post.
  • Preparing standard correspondence, reports, minutes, and other documents in line with guidelines.
  • Ensuring all administrative work meets quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • A clear DBS check (we will complete this free of charge)
  • The ability to provide three years of employment references.
