We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Optical Administration Manager to join our friendly team. This pivotal role supports the day-to-day operations of our optical and audiology clinics, ensuring an efficient, professional, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the appointment diary for optical and audiology clinics
  • Oversee call centre operations, ensuring a high standard of customer communication
  • Handle NHS payments, debtor administration, and invoicing
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and checking of spectacles and other stock
  • Process post, correspondence, and general administrative tasks
  • Carry out cashing up and daily banking procedures
  • Support rota planning and payroll administration for the team
What we're looking for?
  • Previous experience in optical, audiology, or healthcare administration is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in managing financial tasks such as cashing up, banking, invoicing, and payroll support
  • A proactive leader with experience in team management or supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
  • Competent using practice management systems and standard office software
