Job summary

A major health Trust in the North West is looking for an Administrative support role to provide high-quality support across various departments. About the Role

To work as part of an administrative team providing temporary, high quality and co‑ordinated support as specified within the placement request. The post will vary depending on the assignment and department helping to provide an efficient and cost‑effective service to the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for all telephone and reception enquiries, ensuring that messages are forwarded to the appropriate persons and visitors are welcomed to the department.
  • Effective liaison with multi‑disciplinary staff, patients, carers and outside agencies, including dealing with appointment/service enquiries.
  • Register patient referrals for the service on appropriate systems following the service referral pathway.
  • Maintain appropriate records as directed by Line Manager in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
  • Contribute to the ordering of stationery supplies and associated procedures.
  • Assist in producing and sending appointments and giving appropriate patient information/advice.
  • Liaise with various teams and services across the community division to undertake varied admin and clerical duties in line with the assignment.
Working Hours & Locations

Shifts may be located across the Division, such as St Helens, Liverpool, Warrington and may include various locations depending on service needs.
