An educational institution in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for an Administration Assistant to support a busy Academy Reception/Office. This role requires experience in Microsoft Office and a solid background in customer service. The ideal candidate will maintain an organised workspace and confidently interact with staff and students. This is a term-time position, offering a salary in line with public sector expectations, alongside good pension benefits and opportunities for career development.
Principal: Ms J Schofield | Required: As Soon As Possible | Administration Assistant | Level 3 | 30 Hours Per Week | Actual Salary (£17,585-£17,861) | Term Time Only | Fixed Term until 31st December 2026
Support an extremely busy and challenging Academy Reception/Office. Maintain a calm and flexible attitude while being highly organised and prioritising workloads. Administer First Aid (training can be given). Deliver customer service and converse at ease with members of the public, staff and students in accurate spoken English.
Experience with Microsoft Office; good skills in Excel and Word are desirable. Customer service skills and knowledge of Arbour would be highly beneficial. Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through spoken English.
