Job description

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Administration Assistant to join our vibrant office team. The successful candidate will provide efficient and professional administrative support, contributing to the smooth running of the school.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across the team.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the school's electronic student records in line with school policies.
  • Assist with attendance monitoring and reporting.
  • Support staff with day-to-day organisation and documentation.
  • Respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Welcome visitors and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the efficiency of school operations.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of school management information system (Bromcom) is desirable.
  • Previous school office experience is an advantage.

35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days. Hours: 8.15am to 4.15pm. Actual salary range £22,670‑£24,150 (Grade 3).
