Role: Administration Assistant

Salary: Dependant on experience

Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA

Hours: 35 hours per week

The Role

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our newly formed Central Admin Team, providing essential support across the firm. This is a varied and fast‑paced role where you’ll be involved in everything from managing post and booking meetings to preparing legal bundles and handling client enquiries.

What Makes This Role Great?

Working In Our Central Admin Team Gives You Exposure To a Wide Range Of Legal Departments And Administrative Tasks. You’ll Gain Hands‑on Experience In

  • Photocopying, scanning, filing, and document preparation
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post, including courier coordination
  • Archiving and retrieving files
  • Basic file opening and conflict checking
  • Handling client enquiries and booking appointments
  • Preparing bundles and paginating documents
  • Taking client payments and processing cheque receipts
  • Booking meetings, conferences, and managing room reservations
  • Supporting visitors and maintaining health and safety records

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative
Experience

  • Experience working in an office or clerical environment

  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage frequent interruptions
