A local healthcare provider in East Midlands is seeking a part-time admin assistant/receptionist. You will manage patient interactions, handle data entry, and perform various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of administration experience and good communication skills. Flexibility is essential as the role includes occasional Saturdays. The position may lead to a permanent role.
Kirkby Health Centre is a busy GP surgery situated in the centre of Kirkby in Ashfield.
We are looking to recruit an admin assistant/receptionist to work as part of our team. The position is 20 hours per week over 4 days and occasional Saturdays, however, you will need to be flexible to change.
All applicants must have administration experience, good keyboard skills and be able to work to a high standard. Previous experience of working in a medical environment would be preferable but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
The role includes dealing with patients face to face and on the telephone, data input, prescriptions, typing of referrals and all other administration duties.
This is a temporary post which may lead to a permanent position.
Customer service and patient care is important within this role as we aim to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekend availability
The main duties include the following:
You will be a member of a small friendly admin team, you will need to be able to work the days required but also be flexible to change depending on the needs of the surgery.
To provide a helpful, efficient and comprehensive reception and administration service for staff, patients and visitors to the practice, working within agreed policies and procedures.
Apply and follow infection control measures within the practice according to local and national guidelines.
