Job summary

A healthcare provider in Chesterfield is seeking an Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support within the Surgical Division. The ideal candidate will manage confidential information and provide high-quality support to senior staff. Qualifications include GCSEs in English and Mathematics, RSA 2 or equivalent, and knowledge of relevant software. Experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and mathematics Grade A-C or equivalent.
  • RSA 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of Medway, Winscribe and ORMIS required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Care Unit.
  • Handle confidential information, maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Support the Clinical Director and other senior staff with administrative tasks.

Administration Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant within the Surgical Division for the Orthopaedics and Specialist Surgery Care Unit. This post will provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical service to the Care Unit. The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will be expected to have advanced skills commensurate with their responsibilities. They will work substantially independently, providing support of the highest quality to the Care Unit.

The Administration Assistant will provide range of administrative support services to the Clinical Director, Service Manager and Senior Matron and the other senior members of staff.
