A local educational institution in Carshalton seeks an SEN Exams and Alternative Curriculums Administration Assistant to provide administrative support within the SEN team. Salary: CAN scale 14-17 (£27,541 to £30,171 per annum, full time equivalent. Term time (190 days), 21 hours actual salary - £13,463 - £14,749)
Working hours: 21 hours per week, between 8.00am and 4.00pm. Days per year: 190 days (188 term time days plus 2 staff preparation days).
Our school: Thank you for your interest in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to join our SEN Team as an SEN Exams and Alternative Curriculums Administration Assistant. We were proud to achieve a Good outcome in Ofsted inspection in October 2023 in which Ofsted commented that the school is ambitious for all pupils, including those with SEND, and has designed a curriculum with high academic expectations. The post has been advertised due to school expansion and a larger intake of students in September 2025.

At Oaks Park High School, SEN support encompasses mainstream provision and support within the specialist base for students with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition). The SEN Exams and Alternative Curriculums Administration Assistant will work closely with teaching and support staff at all levels, as well as with parents/carers, pupils and external agencies. This is an interesting and varied role that involves working closely with your line manager, the Trust Director of SEND and other senior staff.
