Job description

We are looking to appoint a Patient Booking Clerk to work in a call centre environment at Ysbyty Gwynedd Bangor to provide a professional, efficient and effective centralised booking service for a variety of outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a large team, supporting other team members.
• Collaborate closely with clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient and medical staff, and clerical supervisors and managers across hospitals to deliver Access targets and provide a patient‑focused booking service.
• Use initiative in complex situations to ensure patients are booked in line with local and national Access targets.
• Support the delivery of a patient‑focused booking service and maintain high service standards.
