Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our branch and provide full support in all areas of internal sales. This will include general administrative duties, delivering first class customer service, working pro-actively when handling hire transactions and assisting in stock takes.

Please note, this is a 6-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers over the counter & on the phone
• Maximise hire and sales revenue
• Ensure vehicles are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures
• Responsible for appropriate branch presentation
• Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed
• Assist and attend stock takes as required
• If required, you may also be asked to assist with covering deliveries and collections, test and run equipment and repair referrals.

• Effective communicator with ability to influence and empathise
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• IT Literate - basic Word and Excel skills
• Knowledge of local area
• Ability to prioritise your workload so all duties are done to the highest standard to maximise profitable hires and sales
• Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced and busy environment
• Knowledge of hire industry desirable
• Knowledge of equipment desirable
• Valid driving licence - essential
