Vacancy – Administrative Assistant (Grade 2)

Hours: Monday to Wednesday – 22.5 hours per week (8:30am – 4:30pm), term time only

Start Date: January 2025

The Governors of Moseley Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school office team from January 2025.

If you enjoy working in a busy and varied environment, have excellent interpersonal skills, and would like to play a key role in supporting our school community, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of working with finance, administrative, and school admissions systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Skills in using Microsoft Office and MIS systems
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and external partners
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to work
  • A willingness to undertake further training and development as required
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational environment
