Job summary

A daycare center in Belfast is seeking an admin assistant to support room leaders and management functions. THE EMPLOYER IS: ACREWOOD DAYCARE CIC. ACREWOOD Daycare values an educational and child‑centred approach. Our daycare operates across three main play rooms (0‑2, 2‑3, 3‑5) with a small SEN cohort. As an admin assistant, your main role will be assisting the room leaders and management with printing/copying, preparing resources, internal information sharing and helping to manage the phones/points of contact.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for distributing information among co‑workers.
  • Greeting and assisting parents/visitors.
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Handling office tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.

Further Information

Standard hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/reduced hours may be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional hours may be offered depending on availability. Discuss directly with the employer before starting employment. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.

Salary: £7.55 per hour (16‑17 years), £10.00 per hour (18‑20 years), £12.21 per hour (21+ years). Contract type: Temporary. Weekly hours: 25. Working time: 7:45 am – 6 pm, days to be confirmed.
