Job description

Kibworth, Leicestershire (own transport is required due to the location of the office)

Permanent

Full-time (Monday to Friday) – either 37.5 or 40 hours per week (start 8.30am/9am and finish 4.30pm/5pm)

£12.21 per hour to be reviewed after 6 months

Our client, a reputable company and industry leader, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin/Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team at their Kibworth head office.

Key Responsibilities of an Admin / Accounts Assistant:
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounts and Office team
  • Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and credit notes accurately
  • Assist with statements and account queries
  • Post office runs, general filing and posting invoices
  • Maintain and update internal databases, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems
  • Simple bookkeeping tasks
  • Liaise with internal departments when necessary
  • General office duties including scanning, photocopying, and document management
Skills & Experience required to be an Admin/Account Assistant:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (preferred)
  • Confident working with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Training provided on Sage – advantageous if you have used Sage previously
  • Keen to learn with a positive attitude
  • Own transport due to location of the offices
