Daily Rate: £89–£95 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Are you experienced in supporting children with ADHD or other neurodiverse needs?
A welcoming and inclusive school in Thornton is seeking a committed ADHD Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, care, or youth work settings.

Key Duties:
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ADHD
  • Implement strategies to support attention, behaviour, and emotional regulation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning activities
  • Build positive relationships to encourage pupil engagement
  • Monitor progress and contribute to support plans
Essential Criteria:
  • Experience supporting children with ADHD or SEND (formal or informal)
  • Calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for inclusive education
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
Desirable:
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Psychology degree, Team Teach)
  • Understanding of ADHD strategies and behaviour support techniques
