A regional health trust in Lancashire is seeking a Band 6 Practitioner to join their ADHD team. You will be responsible for managing a caseload to assess and provide evidence-based treatments to children and young people presenting with ADHD. The ideal candidate will have experience in building therapeutic relationships and contributing to multidisciplinary discussions. Flexible working options are available.
We are looking for a Band 6 Practitioner to join our ADHD team. The practitioner will be responsible for the ADHD pathway within CYPMHS and manage a caseload to assess and provide evidence-based treatment to children and young people who present with ADHD. The post holder will be part of an established, supportive multidisciplinary team and will work to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families/carers.
The post holder will support peers and the team coordinator and will be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will supervise other staff members as required and will have a commitment to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across the area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
