Overview

Additional Needs Teaching Assistant - Part Time/Full Time

Location: Bristol

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs in both classroom and 1:1 settings
  • Assisting with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and mobility when required
  • Promoting independence, communication, and engagement in learning
  • Working alongside teaching staff, therapists and support teams to deliver tailored support
  • Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
  • Have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, ideally in an educational or care setting
  • Be confident in providing personal care and physical support
  • Be resilient, patient, and calm in challenging situations
  • Work well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills
  • Be committed to helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
