Overview

Additional Learning Support (ALS) Administrator — Location: St Vincent College or Richard Taunton Sixth Form College. Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Salary: Support Scale Spine Point 25 (£27,731). Contract: Permanent. Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate records for Additional Learning Support, including High Needs funding and Exam Access Arrangements.
  • Manage data entry and reporting in our Management Information System (MIS).
  • Schedule and organise assessments, support sessions, and meetings for students and staff.
  • Liaise with local authorities, curriculum teams, and external partners to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Provide general administrative support to the ALS team, including correspondence, minute-taking, and resource management.
  • Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • GCSEs (A-C/9-4) in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in administration, ideally within education or SEND/ALS settings.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and database management.
