Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistants needed - various roles in Cardiff

Pay Rate: 13.68 per hour

Empowering Learning is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of Cardiff Schools and Colleges. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of learners with additional needs.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, behavioural challenges, and learning difficulties.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils access learning and achieve their goals.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning, adapting resources, and implementing personalised learning plans (IEPs).
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Help with classroom routines, pastoral care, and behaviour support strategies.
