Forward Trust in Salisbury, Wiltshire is seeking an Addictions Counsellor to join Clouds House's structured therapeutic community. The role combines hands-on delivery with ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary team.

Salary £24,000 a year, 35 hours per week, 9-5, with two weekends a month. You will facilitate group therapy, deliver workshops, and build recovery-focused relationships while adhering to clinical guidelines.

As an Addictions Counsellor, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver our intensive, structured treatment programme. This is a role that blends hands-on therapeutic delivery with continued professional development and reflective practice.

Please note the working hours for this role are 9-5 Monday to Sunday. It is a 35 hours per week contract with the expectation that two weekend days per month are covered.

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate

• We are looking for an individual with the skills knowledge and experience below
• Knowledge of addiction and its impact
• Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint,
• Ability to learn new systems including to input onto electronic record management systems
• Experience of working with at times distressed individuals, listen to their needs and communicate respectfully and clearly
• Experience of thinking creatively with the team to create meaningful outcomes for clients and family members
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
