Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Performing Arts Technician to join our inspirational Performing Arts team.

Responsibilities
  • be a well‑motivated practitioner, keen to show enthusiasm for Performing Arts Events
  • be organised, knowledgeable and experienced in set construction, sound systems, filming and performance lighting
  • assist as required with all supporting aspects of Production Arts classes and exam performances
  • support productions by working with production arts students, the director and designer to manage the technical aspects of examination pieces and annual extra‑curricular events
  • support the day‑to‑day running of the Performing Arts department spaces
  • contribute to the development of the department as part of a dedicated team
  • have a professional attitude that is open to innovative ways of working
  • be committed to working in partnership with the Performing Arts team and a range of other staff
  • be flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges
