Biogen is recruiting a Waste and Recycling Operative (Plant Operator) for the Millerhill AD site near Dalkeith. This hands-on role supports safe operation of the anaerobic digestion plant, including intake, weighing, offloading and cleaning of vehicles delivering waste, plus sorting and loading of food waste on site.

You will work a 40-hour week Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern, with overtime paid for additional hours.

Formación

• Follow health and safety and environmental regulations.
• Training provided to meet role requirements.
• Driving licence preferred; telehandler Certificate advantageous if held.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in safe operation of the AD plant including intake, weighing, offloading and cleaning of vehicles.
• Sort and load food waste arriving on site.
• Support routine checks and maintenance activities.
• Work Monday to Friday with weekend rota and overtime as required.
