Ad‑hoc Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (TA / LSA)

Location: Torquay, Devon & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Ad‑hoc, flexible days and hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you looking for an ad‑hoc Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role in Torquay? Key Responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Support students with additional learning needs and help them stay engaged
• Encourage positive behaviour and act as a role model
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials when required
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and support staff
• Demonstrate professionalism in line with the school’s expectations
