A healthcare provider in Great Torrington seeks an experienced part-time Acute Practitioner to manage patients requiring urgent care. Castle Gardens Surgery is seeking an experienced, part time Acute Practitioner on a permanent basis to assess and manage patients requiring urgent, same-day care. This position is well-suited to an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse seeking leadership and career progression, or a Paramedic.
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate follow-up, as well as managing any results and referrals generated during consultations with the support of the GPs.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care to the practice population. This includes assessing and managing patients presenting with urgent, same-day concerns, providing care such as arranging investigations, making referrals, and prescribing medication as appropriate. They will also manage the administration generated from their clinical work, including reviewing results such as swabs, with support from the GP team.
