Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a band 5 Occupational Therapist for The Zinnia Centre, Lavender Suite, a 16-bed Female Acute Ward. You will deliver OT provision to a designated caseload, focusing on occupational performance and recovery, and work with a multidisciplinary team.

You will utilise MOHO-based assessments, manage risk, and contribute to service developments while supporting discharge planning and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience delivering one-to-one OT interventions.
• Knowledge of risk management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively across the multidisciplinary team and provide supervision.
• Lead projects and contribute to quality initiatives and service development.
