The post holder will be static across the medical wards which cover 8 acute wards. These cover a range of speciality wards including the acute medical unit, gastrointestinal, heart care, endocrine, alongside general medical wards.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will engage in the weekend orthopaedic rota with likely progression to 7 day working. There is also a potential for this post to become rotational if in line with operational demand.

The candidate will participate in CPD, clinical audit and in-service training.

Be an autonomous practitioner being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their professional and clinical work.
