Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking consultant physicians to join an expanded team in acute and general internal medicine. The role focuses on leading acute medical services, delivering individualised care, and guiding junior staff across on-call and teaching activities.

Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register and be eligible to hold a consultant post in acute medicine; recruitment incentives may be available.

Formación

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• MRCP or equivalent medical qualification
• Eligibility to hold a consultant post in acute medicine
• Out-of-hours experience relevant to the role
• Experience making clinical decisions and managing risk
• Proven ability to work effectively in different clinical settings
• Knowledge up to date and fit to practise safely
• Medical training in English, or IELTS 7.5 in every component
• Willingness to engage in appraisal and accept feedback
• Evidence of active participation in audit
• Commitment to maintaining professional skills and knowledge

Responsabilidades

• Deliver expert clinical care to acute and general medical patients with individualised treatment plans
• Lead and manage the acute and general medical areas
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver patient care plans
• Engage with patients and families, communicating clearly and sharing decisions
• Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve safety and quality of care
• Mentor and train junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals
• Take part in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
• Take part in the on-call rota, providing emergency care and guidance
• Take part in teaching medical students

Educación
