Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Dietitian to join our acute clinical dietetic team. You will manage a varied caseload across multiple wards, with opportunities to rotate into specialist areas. The post supports development for newly qualified dietitians through a comprehensive preceptorship programme.

The role offers part-time flexible working patterns and a supportive team environment focused on your wellbeing and career growth.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Member of the British Dietetic Association required.
• NHS placement in an acute hospital completed preferred.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary team in an acute NHS hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a source of expertise in dietary management for a diverse range of conditions.
• Manage a clinical caseload across in-patients and out-patient clinics.
• Work across medical, surgical, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic wards and community settings.
• Support junior staff with preceptorship and supervision.
