Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh or Bristol is seeking an Actuarial Manager, Annuity Pricing. This full-time hybrid role supports the commercial pricing of Individual Annuity products, including legacy Final Salary schemes, and works with Retirement Platform, Finance and actuarial teams to shape pricing strategy, market positioning and proposition developments.

Qualifications

Direct experience of pricing UK Final Salary benefits.
Qualified actuary (FIA/FFA) with in-depth knowledge of annuity products.
Strong analytical and commercial judgement.
Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver commercial pricing for annuities and develop pricing solutions with Retirement Platform and Finance teams.
Develop and implement pricing amendments for Final Salary products with cross-functional partners.
Ensure pricing decisions are transparent with a robust audit trail and sound principles.
Prepare for Annuities Pricing Committee and governance forums.
Mentor actuaries and actuarial students within the team.
Contribute to pricing bases and methodologies with the Pricing Assumptions team.
Communicate complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.
Identify and mitigate operational risks within the team.
