Lorien, a leading global insurance organisation, is seeking an Actuarial Analytics Lead to join the Risk Financing team in Greater London. You will shape reinsurance strategy through data-driven analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

The role covers design and placement of reinsurance programmes, actuarial modelling, capital considerations, and governance. Hybrid work is available with 2–3 days in the office; salary up to £140,000 plus 17.5% bonus, plus private healthcare and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with insurance analytics experience.
• Experience with treaty reinsurance and capital modelling.
• Strong Excel, R, Python, and actuarial modelling platform skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate reinsurance structures to optimise capital and earnings.
• Lead modelling and scenario analyses under varying market conditions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate technical insights into business decisions.
• Support governance and regulatory compliance.
