Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join the team delivering Solvency II, UK & IFRS17 analyses, data, and reporting for reserves and technical provisions in London.

You will support quarterly and annual deliverables, explain P&L and balance sheet impacts, and work closely with senior actuarial colleagues to drive continuous improvement and robust controls.

Qualifications

• Actuarial training and qualification appropriate to the role.
• Experience with Solvency II/UK and IFRS17 reporting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse, calculate, improve, and report on SII/UK and IFRS17 provisions.
• Support quarterly and annual deliverables; explain P&L and balance sheet impacts.
• Manage data, assumptions, and calculations for IFRS17 and SII components.
• Collaborate with actuarial leadership to drive continuous improvement and robust controls.
• Build credibility and trust with senior actuarial colleagues and the business.
