Job summary

Ultimate Activity Camps is seeking an Activity Instructor for seasonal placements during Easter, Summer, and Half Term holidays. The role involves safeguarding children aged 6–14 while delivering structured activities across sports, crafts, and games.

Hours are 8.30am–5.30pm on weekdays, with additional hours for staff holding paediatric first aid qualifications. Training and development are provided to build childcare skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

Summary Of Position

The role of an Activity Instructor is to ensure the welfare and safety of the children on camp and to deliver outstanding, structured activities. Using supporting resources, you will be expected to deliver a range of structured activities including sports, arts and crafts, and games catered to the ages of 6-14 years with an emphasis on participation, care and development. In return, we provide training and support for all individuals and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of working in a childcare setting.

As well as leading sessions, staff contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional and social care offered by Ultimate Activity Camps. Our Activity Instructors have a pastoral role as the leader of a group of children on camp, with the focus being on maintaining welfare and providing high quality care.
