Job summary

Cygnet St Augustine's in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an energetic Activity Coordinator to support patients within a 32-bed inpatient rehabilitation service. The role is full-time, averaging 46.25 hours per week on a rota that includes evenings and weekends, and involves working closely with an Occupational Therapist to enhance daily living activities.

You will encourage patient participation, plan therapy activities, help obtain materials, and contribute ideas for safe events.

Qualifications

• We are seeking someone with healthcare experience and an interest in OT.
• Must be able to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Desirable awareness of recovery approaches and social inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist to care for patients.
• Plan and implement therapy programmes and obtain materials.
• Contribute ideas and facilitate safe events and activities.
