Opportunity for Activity Co-Ordinators at Ivetsey Bank Hospital

Supporting young people aged 12-18 with diagnosed mental health conditions. Join a dedicated team committed to providing guidance, support, and training, with opportunities to contribute to hospital development to better support our young people.

Please note: A full driving license is essential for this role.

Working Details
  • Full-time & Part-time hours available
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts from 16:00 to 22:00
Responsibilities
  • Create stimulating activity programs to enhance quality of life for each young person.
  • Organize and coordinate activities for daily living, both individually and in groups.
  • Plan activities to maintain interest and promote progression.
  • Assess needs and tailor activities accordingly.
  • Organize external outings with appropriate transport.
  • Engage with staff, young people, and relatives to understand preferences and needs.
  • Utilize appropriate resources and methods for meeting activity needs.
  • Advertise and implement activity programs flexibly.
  • Maintain records of assessments, participation, and evaluations.
  • Review and adapt programs based on needs and participation levels.
  • Organize themed events and outings, ensuring safety and staffing considerations.
  • Participate in fundraising events.
General Expectations
  • Attend staff meetings, mandatory training, supervision, and appraisals.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, relatives, and external agencies.
  • Be aware of fire safety and food hygiene policies.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Attend outside events as required.
