Activities Coordinator Part Time- Fenchurch House Care Home located in Spalding, Lincolnshire, Part of The Country Court Family. We are no longer accepting overseas applications for sponsorship. Hours: 15 Hours per week, working weekends on rota. Located in Spalding 'Fenchurch House' is a modern & luxurious home and has a warm family feel. Our dedicated staff led by Gani the Manager provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive. Do you have creative flare & want to make a difference everyday? We are looking for an Activities Coordinator with creative flare and out-of-the-box thinking to organise, run events and activities for our residents. From pumpkin-carving, to budding gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.

Responsibilities
  • Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
  • Meet targets set out to improve our resident's lives which includes getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day' programme.
  • Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.
  • Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents' lives! Inspire others through great relationships, to deliver a range of thought-provoking wellbeing ideas.
  • Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals.
  • Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events.
Candidate Requirements
  • An understanding of care sector would be advantageous.
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude.
  • Good planning & development skills.
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
  • Be proactive, passionate, and supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
  • Have your own vehicle with valid business insurance; you will be going out and about, networking, planning activities and with residents.
