Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities that enrich residents' daily lives within the care home setting.

You will get to know residents and families, tailor programmes to diverse interests, and help foster social engagement both inside the home and in the wider community. Training will be provided to support your growth and career progression.

Qualifications

• Warm, empathetic and personable approach to residents and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and a driven mindset to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver imaginative, fun activities tailored to each resident's interests and abilities.
• Know residents well, and build activities that boost wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
• Work with residents' families and the local community to enhance engagement and opportunities.
