Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is looking for an Activities Coordinator to help create a stimulating environment in our care home. You will design imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that match each resident's interests and abilities, helping to deliver exceptional all-round care.

You will get to know residents and their families, develop tailored programmes to maximise wellbeing, independence and social engagement, and support staff in running activities across the home and local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or care settings preferred.
• Strong planning, organisational and people skills.

You’ll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mind‑set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn’t essential especially because we’ll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
