Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to help enhance daily life for residents by delivering a varied, person-centred activities programme across group and 1-to-1 sessions. You will build relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusion, with training provided.

The role suits both experienced candidates and newcomers to care, with a friendly team and a focus on dignity and wellbeing.

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a bright, modern home in a residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, offering person-centred nursing, dementia and palliative care for up to 70 residents. The home features spacious ensuite rooms, wheelchair-accessible facilities, welcoming communal areas, a dedicated hair salon and large landscaped gardens, all supported by a compassionate team committed to kindness, dignity and comfort., As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia. Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

• Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 32 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
