Job summary

Bloomcare Group is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Shawside Care Village in the United Kingdom. You will plan daily and weekly activities for residents, deliver engaging sessions, and support events and outings to enhance residents' quality of life.

The role involves organising a calendar of therapeutic and recreational activities, running group events, and celebrating special days with a friendly, creative and confident approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan daily and weekly activities program for residents.
• Run group events such as craft classes, movies, music, quizzes, bingo, reminiscence and entertainment.
• Plan special celebration days (Easter, Christmas, etc.).
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Team player, able to work on own initiative.
• Friendly, creative and confident.

Responsibilities

We have an amazing opportunity for an Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team at Shawside Care Village!

Your day will be varied. Developing meaningful activities, delivering engaging sessions and supporting events and outings. You will be organising a program of therapeutic, and recreational activities that enhance the lives of our residents

£12.71 per hour
30 hours per week
