Job summary

Springcare Ltd is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create a stimulating environment for residents and strengthen the care team. You will play a key role in enhancing wellbeing and delivering engaging daily activities.

The role requires enthusiasm, creativity, and reliability, with the ability to collaborate with external partners and manage a busy schedule. Permanent full and part time day contracts are available, with access to pension and wellbeing support.

Responsibilities

• Organise personalised activities for residents.
• Coordinate events with third parties (choirs, dancing, shows) and arrange transport.
• Manage and supervise activities and outings.
• accompany residents on outings and attend meetings.
• Update social media, newsletters, and noticeboards with photos and information.
• Complete documents and keep records up to date.

The role:

Every day is different in care, and as an activities coordinator your daily routines may be:

• Organising personalised activities for residents
• Contacting and working with third parties to arrange events such as choirs, dancing and shows, and any transport that is needed.
• Managing any activities that have been organised
• Accompanying residents on any outings
• Attending any meetings
• Updating any social media platforms, newsletters, and noticeboards, with photographs and information
• Completing any documents and updating records.
