We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Activities Co-ordinator to design and deliver engaging activities that help young people develop the confidence, skills and experience needed to progress towards employment.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people aged 18 to 24. Through a varied programme of group and individual activities, you'll support participants to build employability skills, explore career opportunities, engage with employers and take positive steps towards their future goals.
Success in this role relies on your ability to engage young people, create meaningful experiences and work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and community partners.
We believe great work starts with great people, so we make sure our colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to succeed.
At Triage, we don't just offer jobs. We build careers. We're committed to developing our people through training, coaching, mentoring and opportunities to grow within the organisation. Many of our colleagues have progressed into new roles, gained qualifications, and expanded their skills whilst making a positive difference to the lives of others.
You'll design, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of activities that support young people to build confidence, develop employability skills and progress towards sustainable employment.
Working closely with Employment Mentors, Employer Engagement colleagues and external partners, you'll create engaging experiences that encourage participation, develop workplace skills and help young people overcome barriers to progression.
From employer visits and careers workshops to creative projects, digital activities and community-based initiatives, no two days will be the same. You'll play a key role in ensuring participants remain motivated, engaged and prepared for the next step in their journey.
We're looking for someone who combines creativity, organisation and empathy with a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
Behind every activity is the opportunity to build confidence, develop skills and inspire positive change.
Through the experiences you create, you'll help young people increase their confidence, recognise their strengths, develop valuable workplace skills and take meaningful steps towards employment and independence.
The support, encouragement and opportunities you provide will help participants build brighter futures whilst strengthening local communities and employers.
Triage provides information, advice, guidance, training and support to help people move into work, develop their skills and build sustainable careers.
We work across Scotland and England, partnering with employers, local authorities and communities to create opportunities and deliver positive social impact.
