A leading UK care provider seeks a Bank Activities Coordinator to create engaging activities for residents, aiming to enhance their wellbeing and social engagement. This rewarding role involves understanding residents' interests and devising tailored programmes. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and while experience is preferred, it is not essential as training will be provided. Flexible working hours are part of this bank position.
As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all‑round care and support for our residents. Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you’ll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as a Bank Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activity programmes focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
You’ll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as a Bank Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mindset mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn’t essential – especially because we’ll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
As well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously.
As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
If you’d like to use your planning and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you’d expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding place to be.
