Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Bank Activities Coordinator at one of our care homes. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours to support our residents with stimulating activities that promote wellbeing and social engagement.

You will join our Bank Pool and may work across local homes. A warm, empathetic manner, good planning skills and a can-do attitude are essential; driving licence and access to transport are desirable for shifts at different sites.

Job description

This is a Bank position, offering shifts as and when requiredto support the needs of the home. There may also be an opportunity to join our Bank Pool, giving you access to additional shifts across other local homes in the area. A full driving licence and access to your own transport would be desirable, as shifts may be available across different locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as a Bank Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

ABOUT YOU

You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as a Bank Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
