As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you will help create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all‑round care and support for residents. Our ethos is centered on celebrating life, so you will devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, maximising wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
You will get to know residents and their families and then design tailored activity programmes. Your role will include planning and running activities both within the home and in the local community, inspiring residents and staff to get involved, and coordinating with the care team to ensure activities support the residents’ health and wellbeing. Training will be provided, so prior experience is beneficial but not essential.
