Job summary

Aria Care's Thames View, a 78-bed residential and nursing home in Thames Ditton, seeks a full-time Activities Assistant to plan and run engaging activities for residents. The role runs 9:00–17:30, five days weekly with alternate weekends, focusing on enjoyable and stimulating daily activities.

The post requires strong Word/Excel skills and skills in interpersonal interaction and activity planning to involve residents.

Job description

This full-time Activities Assistant post is based at Thames View, a 78-bed residential and nursing home in Thames Ditton run by Aria Care. The work centres on planning and running activities that suit residents' interests and abilities, so that each day is enjoyable and stimulating. The role runs five days a week on flexible days between 9am and 5.30pm, with alternate weekends. Experience of activities work, ideally in care, is an advantage, but strong computer skills in Word and Excel are essential.
