The job role of an Activities Assistant involves planning and delivering engaging activities to residents at a 32-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home in New Malden. The successful candidate will have a passion for enriching the lives of the residents through fun and stimulating activities, while also demonstrating strong interpersonal and preparation abilities.

Main duties of the job

The Activities Assistant will be responsible for creating and leading a variety of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the residents. This may include group sessions, one-on-one interactions, and outings. The role requires a person with empathy, respect, and a growth mindset to ensure that every resident is making the most of every day.
